Two
natural elements can be found in most of Evie's sculptures, clay and
unaltered wood. Driftwood seems to whisper her name, calling for her to
complete the sculpture within its dry surface. Evie simply enhance what nature has already created.
Creating sculptures
from wood preserves its inherent state, so others can see the raw,
untamed beauty displayed in nature. While
walking down the beach, a graceful heron, a mighty alligator, or a
gentle manatee might present itself, begging Evie to take a closer look.
There lies her inspiration.
